"I was let down when I opened..."
I was let down when I opened the box. The shoes looked fine at first glance, but once I actually picked them up, I noticed the stitching was uneven, there were glue marks on one side, and the leather around the edges didn’t look like it had been cut very cleanly.
This is where it got annoying, because for the price, I really expected them to feel more polished and well-made. They were technically wearable, but they looked kind of rushed, like not much care went into finishing them. I wouldn’t order them again...
"Color didn’t match what I expected"
I thought these were going to be a dark brown based on the photos online, but in person they look almost orange, at least in my lighting. I even checked the listing on a couple different screens before ordering, so I don’t think it was just my monitor. If you’re looking for a lighter, warmer brown you might be fine with them, but it really wasn’t the color I wanted. For the price, I expected the shade to be a lot closer to the pictures.

"Worth the wait, but definitely not quick"
I ordered these a few weeks before I actually needed them, thinking that would be plenty of time. Since they’re made to order, I expected a bit of a wait, but by the second week I was definitely starting to wonder when they’d show up. When they finally arrived, the shoes looked really nice and I was happy with how they turned out. Overall, I’d say they’re worth it if you’re not in a rush, but I wouldn’t order them last minute

"Nice shoes, but the site felt a little suspiciously tricky"
The shoes are actually nice and the site looks good, with plenty of options to pick from. But I’m not gonna lie, figuring out the custom choices took me longer than it should have. A couple pages loaded slow too, which had me wondering if the website was testing my patience on purpose or hiding the good options somewhere, haha. The size info could definitely be clearer, because it felt like I was decoding some secret system just to pick the right fit. Checkout worked fine in the end, so no major complaints. Overall, not bad at all, just not the smoothest experience...

"Refund process was a headache"
I ordered a pair of shoes and they showed up later than expected, which was already annoying because I needed them for a weekend thing. Then they didn’t fit right at all, so I asked for a refund. the whole process dragged on way too long. I had to send multiple emails, and most of the replies sounded like the same copy-paste message with my name swapped in. I eventually got my money back, thankfully, but it took way more effort than it should have. Not the worst experience ever, but definitely frustrating

From what I remember after wearing them a few times, the leather just felt really thin and kind of fake. I also noticed it started creasing in a weird way quickly. based on my experience, I wouldn’t say it’s worth the money.

I ordered my usual size, but it still felt way too tight on me. I keep wondering if I should’ve sized up, but I don’t usually have this issue, so I’m not sure. The fit just didn’t feel right

"Nice quality with one small drawback"
I got my shoes from girotti last week, and overall I’m happy with them. The leather feels nice, the stitching is neat, and they definitely have a well-made look in person.
The fit is good too, though they were a little stiff the first time I wore them. After a few wears, they’re starting to break in and feel more comfortable, so I don’t think that’s a big issue.
The only thing I’d mention is that the color looked slightly different from what I expected based on the website photos. It’s not a dealbreaker for me because they still look great, but that’s why I’d say they’re not quite perfect.

"Comfy at first, but not for all-day wear"
These were comfy enough when I first put them on, and they feel fine for a little while. But after a few hours, my feet started to hurt. They’re okay for short wear, just not something I’d want to be in all day

I got my girotti order and I’m happy with it overall. The shoes feel comfortable right out of the box, and the little details like the color and stitching are very close to what I chose online. They’re not exactly cheap, but for something custom made, I think the value is definitely fair...

I wasn’t totally sure what to expect, but the shoes ended up looking almost exactly like the design preview. There was maybe one small color difference, but overall I’m happy with how accurate they turned out.

I reached out to customer service hoping someone would actually help, but it felt like I was just getting the same copy-paste replies over and over. Nobody seemed to take ownership of the issue or follow through, and I kept getting passed around without any real solution. Frustrating experience

The tracking was confusing. It never really updated, so I had no idea where my order was. I reached out to support, but they basically just told me to wait, which wasn’t very helpful. A clearer update would’ve been appreciated.

Ordering was simple and didn’t really take much effort. The only thing was the shipping updates showed up a little late, so I wasn’t totally sure what was going on for a bit.

I sent my return back and I’m still sitting here waiting for the refund. The whole process has been way more annoying than it needs to be, and it kind of feels like they drag it out hoping people will just give up or forget about it...

"Sizing guide didn’t work for me"
I ordered a pair from Girotti and actually followed their size guide properly. Measured my feet, checked the chart, did the whole thing... so I really thought I was choosing the right size.
When the shoes arrived, they were way too small. Not just a bit snug or something that might break in, but uncomfortable enough that I couldn’t really walk around the room in them.
It was frustrating because I trusted the sizing info on their site. If the guide is that far off, then... what’s the point? I don’t think I’d order from them again.

I decided to try Girotti because I was excited about designing my own shoes, but my experience was disappointing. When I actually went through the customization process, some of the options felt more limited than I expected, and the colors looked different in person than they did on the website. For the price, I really thought the final result would feel more personal and closer to what I had pictured. I also reached out to customer service, but they weren’t very helpful. Overall, it just wasn’t worth it for me, and I don’t think I’d order again.

"Shipping took forever"
I was frustrated with how long the shipping took. I kept checking for updates, and they weren’t super clear, so I was just kind of left wondering where my order was. It ended up arriving later than the estimate, which was annoying because I was expecting it sooner. Not the worst thing ever, but yeah, the waiting and lack of clear info made the whole experience more frustrating than it needed to be.
